La Cellule and the Fondation du CHU de Québec

La Cellule, a group of young professional networking experts created by the Fondation du CHU de Québec in 2014, aims to raise awareness among young people aged 25 to 40 of the importance of financial support in the healthcare field. Their mission is to promote the Foundation and mobilize the Quebec City region’s young business community to support ambitious projects. They raise funds for specific medical causes chosen annually, by organizing innovative and unifying activities. Their action helps to improve healthcare, patient comfort in hospital and facilitate the acquisition of cutting-edge technological equipment in care units.
Lise Watier Foundation
Financial donation made on October 12, 2023 from President Éric Morin to the foundation.
The mission of the Montreal-based Lise Watier Foundation is to promote the economic fulfillment and financial independence of women in Canada by providing them with the resources they need to realize their full potential. Through its professional development program, the foundation offers training, individualized coaching and financial support to help women acquire the skills they need to succeed in entrepreneurship, post-secondary education or the job market. The ultimate goal is to enhance women’s contribution to the local economy, creating a richer, more equitable society.
The Dr Clown Foundation
Éric Morin, as co-president of the event, was involved in planning the Bal Imaginaire, which took place in Montreal on June 6, 2023. In addition, Bouty generously donated an ergonomic chair as a silent auction prize.
The Dr Clown Foundation has been working since 2002 to improve the well-being and quality of life of people in specialized care and learning environments. Their programs, Dr Clown in schools and hospitals, and La Belle Visite with seniors, focus on creating relationships marked by joy and complicity, thus fostering the resilience of beneficiaries. By personalizing their approaches, they bring a breath of lightness to sometimes heavy contexts, offering essential support in these environments.
PROCURE
Financial donation made on June 17, 2023 by President Éric Morin to the Foundation.
Founded in 2003 by Marvyn Kussner, PROCURE is a charitable organization dedicated to the fight against prostate cancer. It raises awareness, supports and informs those affected by this disease. It promotes and helps fund world-class research.
CEDARS CANCER FOUNDATION
Financial donation made on November 13, 2023 by President Éric Morin to the Foundation.
Founded 50 years ago, the Cedars Cancer Foundation is the McGill University Health Centre’s main source of funding in the fight against cancer. It supports the Cancer Centre and the Cancer Research Program, and is a founding member of the Rossy Cancer Network. Its goal is to broaden oncology expertise by covering all patient needs, whatever their cancer type or age.
